its been 3 weeks in london, and despite the unlucky happenings, it has been a blast.
food in london is absolutely horrible. and bloody expensive. what the hell is going on man. with french and italian influence nearby, the food still like shit. miss singapore food man. lasksa...... i miss katong laksa. sian.....
anyways some major happenings in london. a couple of weeks ago i went on a pub crawl with the ucl econs and finance society. its a drinking trip along the circle line. so we hop onto the the tube, drop at every station, get to the nearest bar, and go for a drink at every single bar. it was fun until we reached kings college pub. after around 4 pints of beer and 9 shots i was pretty high. for some reasons i smashed my head into the corner of a metal comment box and ended up busting my head. i was rushed to the hospital where i waited for around 2 hours to see the man nurse. he took my bloody pressure and told me i'm not dying. he also said he's not sure if i need stitches. all he knew was that its bleeding so it probably needs something. and he said need to wait for around another 2 hours to see the doc. NHS ftw... lol....
met up with gerbs jenhan jilyn at london. very fun night. feels good to have close frens around. gives you this sense of assurance. that there will be someone who will take care of u jus in case u need it.
i've been drinking too much in london. 1/3 of my total expenses is spent on alcohol. the drinks are not cheap here. a pint goes for at least a couple of quids. good ones go up to 3 plus pounds. sick shit. during the 99p nights u only get to drink calsberg, probably the worst beer in the world.
despite paying a shit load for my hall, i'm very happy with everything. the hall mates are nice, the food is decent, and i stay damn bloody near sch. all lectures are within 5min walking distance from my room. there was one day i overslp, i got a call, and i reached the stats building within 10min. nice.
shall go back to my econs book. i love studying =)
